Went skating with young boys
Now our students are having spring vacation that will last till the end of March (Unbelievable!). I also took some days off & went skating with some boys from our school.
One of them is a ice hockey player. Originally his mother was a big fan of an actor who played a role of iceman on TV drama about 15 years ago. Mother took her son to the practice venue & asked the team to let him join! He was just a tiny boy like 5 or 6 years old. Mom didn't think he would continue ice hockey this long, but he himself has made his mind up to play hockey. I admire him for his positive behavior; he's even working at a restaurant to get his hockey gear.
He has invited us to the ice skating place, Hiroshima Big Wave. We went there individually; the iceman sent me a message saying "Are you already there?" I replied, "Oh, NO! Left my towel at home! Can't wipe my skates after, though!" "I've got one! Don't worry!" What a man!
We enjoyed skating for more than 3 hours; the iceman shaved the ice and gave us "snow shower!" LOL! I asked him "You can get me more!", but he did know that I'd have some meetings after skating, so he kindly urged me to behave... He sometimes becomes someone like my manager! Thanks! I am very happy to see young students look so mature!
The reason why I write this in English is to lead the TOEIC students to reading English taking it easy. Hoping it is easier for them to read something that we have shared at school & outside of school.
お城の子グマたちは春休み…私もお休みをいただき、子グマたちとお城の外へ「フィールドワーク」
スケートに行きました！リンクサイドに出ると「きゃー！誰もいないリンク！私だけのリンク！」
あまりにうれしくなってうちのキムタクに写メ
キ「つきましたかー？」
私「ぞうきん、忘れたー！」
キ「持ってます！」
キムタクの方がしっかりしてる…恥ずかしい、ぞうきん忘れ…
彼のお母さまが拓哉のファンで拓哉がアイスマンをしたドラマの頃スケート場に連れて行かれ
アイスホッケーを始めたとの由（おそるべしキムタクの影響力…私もそのドラマ大好きだったよ！）
幼少期にどんな経験をするかがその後の人生にこんなにも影響するんですね…
みんな一人ずつアイスマンに急ブレーキ＆かき氷かけをしてもらい「雪まみれ」
「私も〜！」とおねだりしたもののほんの少しだけ…
「先生、この後、ミーティングでしょ？」とたしなめられました…
スケートの練習、スケ練は2013年のシーズン以来お休みしていました
山を走る大会が毎年3月でスケートで怪我して走れなくなってはいけないと思っていましたから…
でもうちのキムタクの話では
「スピードを出したり、羽目を外さない限り、気分転換にスケートもあり！」さすが！確かに！
長くお会いしていなかったのにリンクの常連のみなさまが私のことを覚えてくださっていて
「先生！先生！」と相変わらず親しく呼んでくださり、うれしかったです！
（なぜ、「先生！」なのかはわかりませんが…）
また、子グマたちとの思い出が増えてよかったです！
お城追放後もリンクで再会したら今まで通り笑顔で一緒に滑れますように！
