The happiest thing this week!
Look! This tiny glass bead is "Blue Desert" sold just in Osaka all around Japan. I have wanted this one for years, but no chance to go there... Coincidentally one of my young male friends visited there and brought me one to my office. I had never expected he would be able to make it as he went there for his own business, so this was unexpected & surprising!
I ran & jumped getting it. ←embarrassed a little, but it's OK!
Immediately added to my neckless! (At home, I coordinate a little with other ones, though.)
This reminded me of my Korean friend from Brown University. He always smiled to me and gave me some useful advice when my boyfriend & I had an argument. One of his advice is "unexpected & surprising gift works!" Then, can you guess what he suggested me for the gift? "In Japan, maybe Manju?" Love the cute suggestion! I did as he said. I can't count how many times we argued...
My boyfriend has never given a gift as he prefers to spending money in making good memories, instead of any gifts, such as going for a drive to beach we love, or visiting historical places like Nikko.
The gentleman who brought me the bead is also NICE, hope more Japanese men would do like this with confidence!
Today's lesson
"Unexpected & surprising gift works!"
I would like to express my hearty gratitude here.
Thank you so much again!
(Hey! My boyfriend, learn from him! LOL!)
