Reminded me of my passion...
I greatly appreciate the invitation to 5th anniversary of Sheraton HIROSHIMA. Time flies!
We're informed just we would have surprising guest who's quite famous.
That information strongly urged us to use our imagination who's coming...
Dean Fujioka, a popular actor was the only one I thought of! LOL!
The Guest was Yoichi Watanabe san, who has taken pictures in battlefields.
This was a great surprise as I had never expected I would consider global agenda in Hiroshima, such a small local city. His talk reminded me of my passion; Education. Education is something that would bring real wealth of nations. I remember Riane Eisler's "The Real Wealth of Nations" which is one of the most significant books form my shelf. I work hard for next generation, hoping "Look at me!" WS would be some of help creating society of caring, loving people.
This event equals to International Conference for Women in Business held in Tokyo, to me.
It is still a dream, but I'd like to facilitate "Look at me!" workshop for the children all around the world such as in Pakistan where the children strongly wish to learn & study. I'm curious as a teacher what kind of flowers they would draw...
Lucky to have opportunity to be able to talk to him in person given his book with his autograph. He started his global career in Pakistan, in my case, a problem in Palestine (because I love Diamond!)
In this picture we are smiling, but his talk made me sad...really really sad.
It was worthwhile to visit.
Thanks again for the invitation, and hope we will be able to continue these kind of events in near future!
