Go! Go! Sakura, cherry blossoms! 3 days before the race :)
Found Sakura in Kami-Kamagari Island, where we will run a race on 3/27! This time we practiced the course with my girlfriend's nephews. (and I can never forget my girlfriend!)
Older boy(16) ran this race last year, so he is confident enough to check the course by himself, and younger one(12) was so cute! First he said he was not sure if he could make it, but on the way he talked to me a lot, made fun of me a lot, but we all had a good time!
The younger one(12) is still shy, but my girlfriend and I will take a year to try to urge him to run with us next year! Too excited!
This was my second course check for me this year, so I became exhausted after finishing. I was the slowest one, felt sorry to keep my firends waiting for me around our car, but a sweet, little gentleman (4 years old!) gave me a flower petal :) He was being so nice playing around the beach with his mother! I was happy to know they never felt bored.
The flower petal looks like "a Heart!" to me! Thank you!
Actually 12-year-old boy didn't follow the course, so on the way I was so worried...wishing he would not get lost.
My girlfriend ran after me asking "Where is he?"
I went to the peak after her, and met an old man saying to me "I met a running lady who asked me if I knew a young child, but you are not a young child, are you?" No! We were looking for 12-year-old boy!
The 16-year-old boy caught up wiht me on the road after finishing the trail and said the 12-year-old boy was still runnning on his way to me! This guy just hurried to the goal. (He is our HOPE! & STAR!)
FInally 12-year-old boy reached me! What a relief!
I thought "Running is non-team sport", but through this experience it seems like a kind of team sport; we always go in a group thinking of one another.
This is the final practice before race, and we just stay calm, relaxed, quiet by the race.
Hope we all will be able to finish the race with a lot of happiness on Sunday! (Cape Jupitar always reminds me of J-POP, Happiness!)
